We’re an independent charity and, unlike council-run libraries, we rely on the kindness of our community to keep our doors open. We are more than just a library we are a real community hub, and our services make a true difference to our local residents, for some it is even a lifeline.

• We have just two paid staff, supported by an amazing team of 30 volunteers
