Gentle Seated Yoga
Gentle stretching lead by the wonderful Ntathu Allen. In her own words, “This class is perfect if you haven’t exercised for a while and/or recovering from a medical condition and need gentle stretching to relax and feel better”. It’s open to everyone – especially beginners!

An all-abilities class in a relaxing atmosphere – bring your own mat (if possible) to our very popular Saturday morning yoga class. Arrive early to avoid disappointment. Suitable for beginners.

You may have seen our spectacular Yarn Bombing all over the Library garden – if you want to learn to knit, crochet, complete projects, mend clothes with our sewing machine or just get in some practice, then come along and get involved. All abilities welcome!

A quiet space and peaceful atmosphere to discuss and meditate with your peers. Lead by Joseph Sanders, who has a long history in meditation and Alexander Technique, including providing training to the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.

Tea & Cake Mondays – for people living with Dementia and their carers
A welcoming weekly group for people living with dementia and their carers to enjoy a friendly chat over a cup of tea or coffee. There will be the chance to join activities as well but there is no pressure and no need to book – just drop in. Tea and cake supplied by the Co-op on Sangley Road.

We Are Catford South Reminiscence Project
A newer reminiscence group run by Barbara Grey – with interesting artefacts, photographs and music to spark memories and conversation – not to mention occasional trips and long-term projects to get involved with.
Every Friday 11:00-12:00
Monthly meetings of a brand new branch of the WI. Local groups such as Catford already have a long waiting list, so this is an opportunity to be part of a new group. Meetings will be held for three months provisionally and then continue permanently, depending on attendance.
