So it’s a case of one step forward and two steps back for our lovely library service! We were just getting back to our new ‘normal’ with additional services and activities within the library and we’ve been forced to put the brakes on due to the 4 week lockdown. We really want to help support our community so we are doing our best to deliver as much as is possibly within the new guidelines.
So from Thursday 5th November until Wednesday 2nd December the library will be open for the following services:
By appointment only:
• Essential PC Use: such as job search/applications
• Online Support Services
• ESOL Classes (English as a Second Language)
• Doorstep Chat (a volunteer will visit you for a socially distanced chat)
• Baby Book Club – A place for parents and babies under 12 months to enjoy books together, discover play ideas and meet other families.
Mondays: 2.30 – 4.30pm
Thursdays: 11am – 1pm
If the lockdown ends on 2nd December we are hoping to go ahead with our Christmas Craft Fair which is arranged over 3 dates in December. On 5th, 6th & 12th December we will host 6 local artists, designers and makers who will be selling their creative works. Please support these artists by doing your Christmas shopping here at the library instead of on line. Shop local, and support small business.
For information about any of our services or to book an appointment please call: 020 8378 5358 on Mondays & Thursdays 10am-4pm or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
We hope to be back from Thursday 3rd December with our full library service. Watch this space…
